At first glance, fan convectors may look like conventional radiators, but they can do so much more. In heat pump systems they are ideal for reaching the desired room temperatures even when combined with low temperature heating systems. Efficient and cost-saving operation of the heat pump is thus possible during heating operation, as reducing the flow temperature by just 1 °C results in a reduction of heating costs of approx. 2.5%. The improvement in heat output when compared to radiators is achieved thanks to the active air circulation.
